The PHS school Spelling Bee was held on Monday, February 27th 2017. Thirteen 7th & 8th grade PUPS competed. The school winners were Meimi Teeples and Dalancey Henry who went on to compete at the regional competition on March 25th. Of 158 contestants, Dalancey placed 4th, and Meimi placed 2nd.

Dance Company & Dance 3 Rosters 2017-2018
Congratulations to all company members for this upcoming school year. I am excited to work with you! We have a lot of great ideas in store!
If you have not turned in your paperwork, please get it in quickly. Remember the Parent/Student Meeting for all 3 companies is on May 16, 6:00 PM, Auditorium. (Dance 3 – you will know which specific company you are on when you get your student schedule for next year.)
Dance Company 2018 – there will be a student meeting for you Friday May 5, right after school from 2:30-3:15 PM in the Dance Room. Please arrange to be there as we will be discussing and planning this upcoming year. (Concert themes, early morning rehearsals, company council, etc)
Thank you to all students who auditioned! You all worked so hard! Keep up the great work, keep dancing, and I hope to see you in class!

Out of 46 schools in the state, Boaz Stubbs placed 1st in the automotive SkillsUSA Competition! He will go on to represent Provo High and the state of Utah at the National Competition this summer in Kentucky. His automotive instructor, Alan Gatenby, notes that “Bo is a great student with a keen mechanical mind… headed to accomplish great things in his lifetime.” Congratulations on all your hard work, Bo… and good luck at Nationals!

TSA Heads to Nationals!
Provo High’s Technology Student Association (TSA) is going to Nationals! They took 1st place in Chapter Team Competition and 3rd place in Children’s Stories Competition. Congrats to these students for all of their hard work!
