There was no Why I Teach Wednesday this week, so that we could instead feature Mrs. Hilary Daniel on her last day at Provo High. I guess that makes it both Feature Friday and Farewell Friday!
Hilary and her family are headed to the East Coast where they no doubt will make a significant impact on the lives of others, just as they have here.
Hilary has taught ASL at Provo High for 6 years, and she has been beloved by all. Not only does she forge strong connections with her students (who continue to stay in touch after they graduate), but her relationships with peers are iron-clad. People know they can rely on Hilary through it all.
Outside of school, Hilary devotes her time to spreading positivity and goodness into the world. She hosts a vlog, Strength of Souls, to interview and highlight the strengths of those around her, including those right in our own community.
Hilary will be greatly missed… but we know wonderful things lie in store for her and her family, and we wish them all the best. (Plus, we know her classes lie in the very capable hands of the dynamic Ms. Jamila Hubbard!)
Hilary, thank you for your remarkable contribution to Provo High. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!
