On September 27, our team of PHS Theatre students went down to SUU to compete in the Utah Shakespeare Festival’s High School Shakespeare Competition. They performed wonderfully, and with great results. Congratulations to the following students and to their Directors, Robert Bauer and Jocelyn Smith!
David Mitchell and Katy Cox took 1st Place in the Duo Scene category against 38 other scenes, each earning the Ray Jones Award ($1,000 scholarship to SUU).
Our Dance Ensemble took 2nd Place with their visually stunning and captivating piece entitled, Imprisoned Freedom.
Casey Black earned the title of Best Ensemble Member out of about 20 different Ensemble scenes and hundreds of students, earning the Larry Lott Acting Award ($1,000 scholarship to SUU)
