BYU Course Equivalency

If a student completes all of the general education requirements at another school (e.g. Associate Degree, Certificate of Completion, Letter of Completion, etc.), most of the BYU general education requirements will be waived. However, students will still need to complete BYU’s requirements for:

  • American Heritage
  • Advanced Written and Oral Communication
  • Languages of Learning
  • BYU religion hours
