Mike Toomey, retired Vice President of DuPont and a graduate of BYU in chemistry, will be visiting with Provo High math and science students regarding opportunities in the field of engineering. Mr. Toomey visits Utah from his native Florida twice a year to mentor BYU students in the field and has agreed to stop by Provo High this year as well. This is a great opportunity for our students.
Mr. Toomey will be presenting on January 4th at 1:30 in the Auditorium. We would like to invite all chemistry, math (Algebra 2 on up), physics and advanced science students to attend. Students will need to receive permission from their teacher to be released at 1:20. We will take roll at the presentation to excuse attendance.
