Congratulations to our student body for crushing the school’s previous canned food drive record by collecting over 91,000 cans of food for the food bank. I am proud of the strong leadership of our student government for setting the vision and leading the charge. And, I am proud of the generosity of our student body and our community who supported this cause.

Mrs. Pierce’s Careers in Education class headed to Independence High School today. Principal Jacob Griffin spoke to them about what sets IHS apart from traditional high schools and the value that lies within those differences. Students then had the opportunity to sit in on some of the classes. The moment students stepped out, they had rave reviews… commenting on the laid back nature of the classrooms due to the small class sizes and the quality instruction given by the teachers. We appreciate IHS admin, teachers, and staff for helping facilitate our visit today!
Mr. Chambers is bringing his A-game to the Faculty Student basketball game tonight! Come watch him and the other teachers trample the students!!! Think you can prove me wrong? Then you had better bring your cash and cans to up the student score!! 8:00pm!!
As road conditions have deteriorated and are not expected to improve, the Superintendent has announced the closure of Provo School District schools. No classes or extracurricular activities will be held today. Stay safe, and enjoy the snow.
