Career Exploration, Occupations, and Jobs Resources through YouScience and Keys to Success

YouScience offers aptitude assessments along with career exploration free for all Utah high school students.  PCSD students get their first introduction to YouScience in their CCA courses in 7th grade. The test is again offered when they reach the high school level in their BOS class or they can contact Jeri Marshall in the CCC to get started. Juniors are then reintroduced to the aptitude assesment in their financial literacy class and can get even more guidance to a promising career. A student’s YouScience account is available to them for 10 years after they graduate high school.

The Keys to Success website is an excellent resource that is free for Utah high school students  as well.

To access the Occupation and Jobs tools on the Keys to Success website, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Keys to Success
2. Log in with your account credentials.
   1. Create an account if you do not already have one.
3. Once logged-in, click on the “My Careers” tab.

Under the “My Careers” section, you will find the following resources:

• “Department of Workforce Services Job Finder”
• “Resume Builder”
• “JustServe Volunteer Opportunities”
