Course Materials
For this class you will need to bring your HOMEWORK assigned in your General Education math class, PENCIL and notes from class. I don’t accept the statement from the student, “I completed it in class.” unless I see it. If possible another worksheet from the class will be given to replace the homework that was not brought to class.
Classroom Procedures
All absences will be entered as a zero until absences have been excused and then will be entered as a “no count.”
Classroom Rules:
Be on time.
Be prepared
Be respectful to everyone and equipment in class.
Bell to bell work effort.
Students will follow Provo High School rules and policies.
Calendar of Due Dates for Major Assignments
Worksheets/Packets will be collected on the date they are due and a score will be entered once they are graded. You then have two (2) weeks to go back and correct or complete the packet. If you do not take advantage of this time the grade will stand as is.
**At the end of the term if for some reason the worksheets/packets become a necessity to help your student pass this class they will be available to the students during the last week of the term. All problems must be corrected or packets completed before a re-grade will be done. Last day of the term is the due date for all corrections and packet completion
Progress Reports and Report Cards
Students progress and missing assignments can be monitored on PowerSchool.
Connecting Home to School
This class is designed to help students complete their homework it will not always be possible to accomplish this objective due to in-class delays ie., lesson review, fire drills, or assemblies…etc. So please check with your student about homework assignments each day to make sure they are being completed. I don’t accept the statement from the student, “I completed it in class.” unless I see it.
